Jeff Rubin
Jeff Rubin is the CEO and Co-Founder of Holistic Aging, LLC and the Chair of the Alliance for Holistic Aging, a social entrepreneurial model dedicated to improving the future of aging in America. A lifelong advocate of creative collaboration and inclusion, Mr. Rubin brings to his position a track record of accomplishment from both the aging services and the newspaper publishing fields.
A former field Director with The National Council on the Aging, Jeff served as the nation’s first State Director for Benefits CheckUp®, a comprehensive public benefit and prescription assistance program for people 55 and older.
As Colorado State Director, Jeff worked extensively with local, state and federal government agencies, not for profit organizations and businesses to promote broad-based cooperation, collaboration, and change. His efforts were responsible for a number of innovative initiatives and campaigns leading to increased assistance for individuals, boomers, families, and communities in need.
In his earlier career, Mr. Rubin served as a Publisher, General Manager, and Director of Marketing Operations for community newspapers in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Georgia, and Florida. His work, particularly in the area of community service received industry wide recognition resulting in 21 major awards for excellence.
Beginning in 1997, Rubin directed his energies to aging services focusing on volunteer recruitment, training, and program development. As local Director of one of the oldest National Senior Companion Programs in the country, Jeff was elected to serve as regional representative to the National Association of Senior Companion Project Directors Board in Washington D.C.
Mr. Rubin is a former graduate of the National and Community Service Leadership Program in San Francisco, as well as, a graduate of the Class of 2000 Denver Community Leadership Forum.
