Thank you and the Alliance for Holistic Aging for providing me with the opportunity to share your special PowerPoint presentation and Interactive Workshop January 22nd. There was a diverse audience of caregivers, seniors, adult children, professionals serving seniors and local government officials.

“From Reactive to Pro-Active: A Practical Approach to Taking Care of Our Loved Ones & Ourselves as We Age” was my first time out facilitating this thought-provoking event. The frequent audience/Sponsor interactions and Question-and-Answer session provided many useful resources and coping recommendations.

We probably could have exceeded the two-hour session, but the servers at the Classic Residence by Hyatt in Boca Raton had to get the dining room ready for the hungry residents!

It was a learning experience for everyone – including me! You really focused on the many ways caregiving impacts millions of us - emotionally, physically and financially. Your presentation offered pro-active solutions and strategies, which many people were hearing for the first time!

Everyone agreed that this interactive Workshop was an enlightening, positive experience. People told me that they would recommend future events to their friends and family members.

So, in light of the success of my first workshop, I am getting ready to lead three more events during March in various areas of Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me and our very first Florida audience.
