The Elder Legends Project

Recognizing that too many of our elders’ and loved ones’ life stories are being left untold, the national non-profit Alliance for Holistic Aging, in conjunction with Life Bio.com, has initiated the Elder Legends Project to capture and share elders’ stories through engagement of multiple communities and intergenerational volunteers.

These projects are intended to promote wellness and life enrichment and provide a highly meaningful forum to encourage closer and lasting relationships.

The Alliance is seeking participants to create Elder Legend Projects in your community. Elders share stories with trained volunteers (Legendaires). Supplied with organized questions professionally designed by experts at LifeBio, Inc, the Legendaires interview the storyteller. Each story is recorded on to the internet in a password protected format. The result is a printed autobiography that is presented to the Elder to use and share in any way they desire.
